Travel to Innsbruck

The Innsbruck Airport is located 3km (2 miles) west of Innsbruck city centre and is served mainly by Austrian Airlines and its subsidiary, Tyrolean. (www.innsbruck-airport.com).

The best gateways from New York are Frankfurt and Vienna (from there to Innsbruck on Tyrolean Airways). Flying time from Zurich and Frankfurt is 50 to 70 minutes.
Direct trains serve Innsbruck from Munich, Vienna, Rome and Zurich. All arrive at the railroad station Sudtiroler Platz

Transfers Between the Airport and the City

Bus transfer (Line F) to the city center (Maria-Theresien-Strasse) takes about 20 minutes. Get your ticket from the bus driver; it costs €1.70.

Taxi transfer takes 10 minutes, the fare is about €8.- €10.00.
